The Bellator champion from Russia estimated a victory over the fighter who knocked out Emelianenko

Russian mixed martial artist (MMA) Vadim Nemkov estimated a victory over the American Ryan Bader in a duel for the title of the Bellator light heavyweight champion. His words are quoted by TASS.

“The task was to make it work as the second number, the Bader is lost when you have to do this. It worked. After I got my foot in the head, I was surprised that the referee stopped the fight for so long, ” Nemkov said. He added that he would like to fight the winner of the confrontation between Lioto Machida and Phil Davis.

The fight between Nemkov and Bader took place in the American city of Ancasville earlier on August 22. The Russian won by knockout in the second round. Bader is a former rival of Fedor Emelianenko. In January 2019, he defeated the Russian by knockout in the first round.

Nemkov is a student of Emelianenko and trains under him at Fedorteam. The fighter now has 12 wins and two losses in MMA.
